For the Comprehensive Cancer Center Augsburg (CCCA) - with focus on the NCT and BZKF activities - we are looking for a full-time medical Statistician/Biostatistician, starting as soon as possible. The position is initially limited to 2 years, with the possibility of extension.

At the Comprehensive Cancer Center Augsburg (CCCA) we organize and coordinate the collaborations in cancer medicine among all participating medical disciplines at the University Medical Center Augsburg. As a Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC), our mission is to integrate multidisciplinary patient care, as well as education, research, and regional outreach activities in oncology to ensure the best possible care for cancer patients in Augsburg and the surrounding region.

The CCCA is part of the CCC-WERA Alliance (a network of the cancer centers at the university medical centers of Würzburg, Erlangen, Regensburg, and Augsburg).
This alliance has been designated by the German Cancer Aid (Deutsche Krebshilfe) as an Oncology Center of Excellence and recognized by the Federal Government as one of the National Centers for Tumor Diseases (NCT). All NCT sites across Germany together form the extended NCT (One NCT) — a long-term cooperation between the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), leading partners in university medicine, and outstanding research institutions nationwide.
The joint goal is to translate promising results from cancer research rapidly and safely into clinical practice, thereby providing patients with access to innovative treatment approaches and improving both therapeutic outcomes and quality of life.
At the same time, the University of Augsburg and the University Medical Center Augsburg are one of six partner sites of the Bavarian Center for Cancer Research (BZKF), together with the sites in Erlangen, Munich (LMU and TUM), Regensburg, and Würzburg.
